GA 3-Hours Ethics CE
|
|
The New Year will bring BIG changes in the way you'll satisfy your CE requirements.
You'll still need 24 hours, but the new courses can only count as 12 hours. So we'll have an opportunity to "Mix & Match" 2 online courses to equal the 24 hour requirement. What topics would you like to see me create and get approved by December 31st? Send your suggestions to [email protected]. Happy Halloween! Eddie |
New Courses' Requirement Notice Due to Rule Change effective December 31, 2025
Rule changes for CE courses published on March 25, 2025, from the hearings held in 2024, created a
Rule that limits course approval hours to 24 hours for in-person courses and 12 hours for
self-study and online courses. To provide time for education providers and licensees to work
through these changes, we are allowing course completions through December 31, 2025, for the
referenced course above. At the close of business on December 31, 2025, all courses with hours more
than 24 hours for in-class attendance and 12 hours for self-study and online courses will be
inactivated. Only course completions on or before that date will be accepted.
You can work proactively to submit new course applications to reduce the approved hours before this
deadline. The Education Team will work with you to answer any questions. There will be no waivers
or exceptions given to approved hours more than the rules allow. We also cannot change the approved
hours for already approved courses due to issues with course completions to licensees' records that
have already been uploaded. You will need to reapply for any courses impacted.
GA R&R 120-2-3-.12(11) Continuing Education courses will not be approved for more than 24 hours for
class attendance courses or 12 hours for any self-study or online course.
