Differences Between a Georgia Insurance Adjuster & a Georgia Public Adjuster
  1. Role and Representation:
    • Insurance Adjuster: Works on behalf of the insurance company to assess claims and determine the payout. Their primary goal is to minimize the company's payout while ensuring the claim is legitimate.

  2. Payment for Services:
    • Insurance Adjuster: Typically paid a salary or hourly wage by the insurance company.
    • Public Adjuster: Usually paid a percentage of the claim settlement (often between 10-20%).
  3. Annual Salaries
  • Insurance Adjuster: The average annual salary for an Insurance Adjuster in Georgia is around $54,410.
  • Public Adjuster: The average annual salary for a Public Adjuster in Georgia is approximately $54,836.
